I love playing with shadows and reflections, so this week’s Travel Theme is right up my alley. Normally, I post three or four photos that fit the theme, but I like this one so much, I’m going to let it stand alone. I don’t want other photos to detract from the drama of this one.
I wish I had a prize to give to the first person to correctly guess what this photo is “of.” Often, when I look at it, I see the reverse, so I’m interested to hear your take on it.
It looks like the balustrade of a deck rail with decorative grasses beyond.
I think you’re giving the lawn care people too much credit. It’s a fence with overgrown grass beyond, and shadows of grass. Good eye!
Thanks. Got goats?
Goats solve so many of the world’s problems.

love the pic and note to self use more black and white if it’s going to make my shots look like this one.
Black and white can really add drama to some images. It’s fun to play with. Thanks for the comment.
An excellent shot.
Thank you!
The first time I looked at the image I couldn’t tell what it was, I saw it today 🙂 It really deserves to stand on its own.
Often when I look at it, I see it in the negative. It’s just odd enough to be cool.
