Now that our power has come back on, and brought with it the internet, I’m able to share a few photos from Blizzardathon ’13, from our little neighborhood in Quincy, Mass.
The first is a hockey goal, seen on Friday afternoon before the storm really got going, and Saturday morning. We still had strong winds and snow was falling, but the worst was over.
An ambulance picked up one of our neighbors, who needed medical attention, then got stuck in the snow. Neighbors pitched in to shovel and push the ambulance back onto the road.

I’ll post some shots that show the “pretty” aspect of the storm later. For now, preparing to head back outside with a camera!
