Hubby and I drove to Northern New Hampshire this weekend, to look for colorful leaves. We didn’t see as many as we expected, but we did have a relaxing weekend (and several parking lot naps) as we looked for something to photograph. This was the best of the weekend.

This week, Sue’s dictionary fell open to the word “mistake,” and Sue has challenged us to share our photographic mistakes. I, naturally, never make a mistake in a photograph (without deleting it immediately), so I don’t have anything to share that fits exactly with Sue’s challenge. However, I have plenty of photos of mistakes made by others (and a couple of my own). So, here goes.

A photo from last Saturday’s excursion to The Butterfly Place in Westford, Mass., strikes me as a good entry for this week’s Photo Challenge. The lines outlining the butterfly’s wings make way for multiple patterns on the wings.
