Where are the leaves?

Today, we spent many hours (two of which, I was asleep) looking for pretty red, orange and yellow leaves in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Unfortunately, we were a week or two late for pretty leaves. Still, though, we managed to find something to photograph.

    • Fall has been interesting – some of the trees were turning in mid-August, and others are still green. An unusual year, and frustrating for photographers (at least this photographer!). I hope you had fun kicking around my old stomping grounds in Idaho!

  1. Sorry you missed them! They are turning SUPER late this year for us, thanks to all the rains, and I am enjoying “something different.” I like that you captured something different, yourself!

    • It’s frustrating when you plan your day around: LEAVES! And then you drive, and walk, and drive some more, and walk, and there’s nothing. I must have taken 100 shots of the caterpillar, so the day wasn’t a complete bust. 😉

What do you think?
