October is a time when vibrant colors turn to brown, and with that in mind, Ailsa over at Where’s my Backpack decided brown should be the theme of this week’s challenge. These are my interpretation of the theme.
Inside a tent at the Cranberry Festival in Wareham, Mass.
On the Bridge of Flowers, Shelburne Falls, Mass.
Mushroom cap, near North Adams, Mass.
This is how New Englanders rake their leaves. Stockbridge, Mass.
Riding the carousel, Boston, Mass.
As always, click on the photos to see them larger, and to see what other bloggers have come up with in response to the theme, go visit Ailsa!
WordPress’s challenge this week is The Hue of You. We’re supposed to post a photo that shows the colors that best represent us. This isn’t an easy challenge for me, because “bright, crazy and fun” are not colors. So, I went with this. She’s wearing bright colors, and her eyes are crazy, so it’ll be me, for this challenge.
There are 65 covered bridges in New Hampshire. It would be fun to take a few days and visit them all, but I’ll have to settle for peeking at a few when we drove past a few weeks ago, and stopping to enjoy this one. The Albany Bridge near Albany, NH, just off the Kancamagus Highway (say that three times fast).
A little color to get you through to the weekend.
All were on the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Mass.
