I know, soon enough I’ll be complaining about the heat and humidity, but for now, I’m so excited to see the snow gone and flowers blooming!!
Saturday was International Pillow Fight Day (who knew?), and Boston’s 8th Annual pillow fight, held in Cambridge Common. Luckily, one of the rules was “don’t hit anyone with a camera,” so I only took a few shots to the head. People of all ages participated, and I think most had a really good time.
Ailsa’s Travel Theme this week is statues, so here are a few of my favorite images of statues.
Abe Lincoln, at his memorial on the Washington, DC Tidal Basin.
Statue of George Washington in Boston’s Pubic Garden during the World Series in 2013.
The Statue of Liberty, as seen from the Brooklyn Bridge.
Outside of a house in Houghs Neck, Mass.
Headstone in a cemetery in Quincy, Mass.
Do you have photos of statues you’d like to share? It’s easy. Just go to Ailsa’s site, and get started!
