Blizzard! (and not the creamy, delicious kind)

Day 1: 3:30 p.m. – still snowing, wind blowing hard.

Day 2: 3 p.m., this time, we walked to the areas next to Quincy Harbor, where the storm took on the feeling of a nor’easter. Wind blowing from the northeast, huge waves.

Then onto Marina Bay, overlooking the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Failed Snowy Owl Hunt

We took our cameras out to the Mass Audubon wildlife preserve on Plum Island today, in search of the elusive snowy owl. We were unsuccessful in our hunt, but we did see a large number of snowy plovers, so that counts for something, I’d like to think.
