About Angie

I come from a small town in rural eastern Oregon, and recently left everything behind to move with my husband to a Boston suburb. The good news: there are jobs here. The bad news: they’re impossible to get to. I’ll try to keep my “crazy Boston driver” rants to a minimum on these pages. Edit: we have returned home to Eastern Oregon! As of December, 2015, Hubby and I are back home where we belong.

I intend to share thoughts, tell stories and show some of my photography here. Be warned, sarcasm is my friend. I welcome – invite, in fact – comments. Discussion, discourse, thoughts are all welcome. Welcome to my life, my thoughts and my craziness. It will be a pleasure to get to know you.

  1. I like the title of your blog. If I’m not mistaken that is a quote from “The Outsiders” or maybe that quote was “Do if for Johnny.” Can’t remember, anyway, cute blog.

  2. Your illuminations images are amazing – and I am cracking up reading about the Julie Brown song here. 50 is definitely the new something, but I am still puzzling it out. Hope you will grow to love wacky Massachusetts…!

    • I think I shall call it … Whackachusetts. A co-worker was telling me about her 3-year-old son “driving” one of the car/shopping carts at the grocery store. He kept yelling, “hey, get out of my way, I’m coming through!” Dude’s going to fit right in on Boston’s roads in a few years. 😉
If you figure out the 50 conundrum, let me know. I’m sure it’ll be something good! 50 is the new birthday cake, perhaps …
