Travel Theme: Glass

Once again, Ailsa has challenged us, then set the bar impossibly high. How can we compete? Ah, but it’s not a competition, it’s a challenge. It’s not about who does it best, but about who participates, and their interpretation of the theme. We’re all winners.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember where this shot was made. Or it’s possible that if I tell you, I’ll get arrested for being someplace I wasn’t supposed to be. Not likely, but possible. More likely that I forgot.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting Moment

This week’s photo challenge is street photography. To capture a fleeting moment on the street. http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2012/06/29/weekly-photo-challenge-fleeting-moment/#more-9112

My photograph was made last night at Faneuil Hall in Boston. This was about 9:30 p.m., and because it’s Fleet Week, there were a lot of sailors from all different countries running around the city. Yet somehow, I managed to capture none of them in this photo. I did get other photos with sailors in them, but for some reason, they all avoided the lens this time.
