Weekly Photo Challenge: Patterns

This week, we’ve been encouraged to look for patterns, and share some photos with that theme.

Patterns are easy to find, but they don’t always translate well into photos. Here are a few of my favorites.

Arlington National Cemetery – different, yet similar patterns from all directions.

A light dusting of snow accentuates the patterns in the bricks.

The snow created and enhanced many patterns here, during “Snowmageddon 2013,” in Quincy, Mass.

When snow blows sideways, interesting things can happen. A chain-link fence, Quincy, Mass.

What patterns do you see when you wander around your neighborhood? Join in the fun at the Weekly Photo Challenge and share!

More Snowmageddon!

They promise we won’t get more than six inches this time. I just shoveled about two inches off the front steps, so “they” might be telling the truth, since it’s been snowing for 14 hours.

ETA: “They” were not telling the truth. 20 inches. Sigh.
