We’re finally seeing signs of spring in the Boston area – most of the snow has melted, and the ospreys, cardinals and snowy egrets have returned to the marsh. I’ve heard rumors of blooming crocuses, but haven’t seen any sign of them yet. While we wait, enjoy this picture of a snowy egret coming in for a landing. As always, click the picture to make it larger.
Not much to say about this. Hubby and I went for a walk tonight, and I didn’t shoot too many photos. Three of them were three different birds, though – here they are.
Snowy egret on the marsh, as the tide goes out.
Cardinal, sitting on a fence.
Seagull, who just picked up a live crab, and flew off with him when he saw I was interested.
