Happy May Day, one and all. It’s a beautiful, sunny spring day in Boston. Now, if we could only convince the building supervisors at work to turn off the air conditioner for a few more weeks. I can tell you, speaking from experience, that it’s very difficult to type while wearing gloves. The small space heater is helping a little, though.
OK, back to the topic at hand, April showers bringing May’s flowers. Of course, these flowers were shot in April, but I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.
Enjoy it while you can. Before you know it, we’ll all be complaining about the heat. So go take a walk and admire the flowers!
Besides flowers bursting every which way you look, you can also see signs of spring if you move closer. Buds are on so many plants and trees, and if you look at them closely, a lot of them are pretty cool. What signs of spring are you seeing in your neck of the woods?
As I mentioned in the previous post, we were at the National Zoo on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, and many of the animals were outside enjoying the sun (no word on the groundhog’s whereabouts).
Lion, licking his chops thinking about the delicious children.
A gorilla, eating lunch.
Chimpanzee overhead, crossing the park on wires.
Elephant, playing with a very large ball.
Female lion, basking in the sun.
Giant Panda, enjoying a frozen treat.
