This week’s Travel Theme is dry. Ailsa has challenged us to look beyond the frozen rivers, snow and cold, and look for things that are dry, and reminiscent of a warmer time. These are a few images I made last week, walking around my frozen neighborhood.
Dry, dead weeds. You’re welcome. If you have dry photos and want to play along head over to Where’s my Backpack and post your photos!
Out exploring last weekend, I came upon this downed tree. It is my entry into Ailsa’s Travel Theme for the week.
Ailsa’s Travel Theme for the week is sky, and as I sometimes do, I’m going to twist the theme a bit so you all see it my way.
In the first case: Skyline.
The Manhattan Bridge, looking at the skyline of Manhattan. The sky itself’s nice, too. Clouds and whatnot.
And skyscraper. I loved the architecture of this building, also in Manhattan.
Now, it’s your turn. What images have you made that invoke thoughts of sky?
This week over at Ailsa’s place, the theme is delicate. We are to show photographs that fit the theme, and here are mine.
Each delicate in its own way. If you want to join the fun, find a photograph that makes you think “delicate,” and follow Ailsa’s instructions!
How convenient that Ailsa’s Travel Theme this week is stone, and Hubby and I spent a couple hours today in the lovely Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester, Mass. So, I give you my stone photos, shot today.
If you want to play, go to Ailsa’s page for instructions, and then start shooting!
